Founder’s Message(EN)

Founder’s Message

project‑KANO began with a simple personal wish:
to create one more option between Japan and Taiwan.

Not an option decided only by governments,
but an option designed by citizens, engineers, and practitioners
who understand the realities of daily life and technology.

For that purpose, we need
a shared institutional architecture
that both societies can trust and use.

Why project‑KANO, and why now?

For 25 years, I have worked as an IT architect,
designing systems and institutional frameworks
across many different industries.

From this experience, I have learned one thing clearly:
good technology alone cannot change society.

Today, tensions across East Asia and the Pacific continue to rise.
But most people living in this region
simply want a normal, peaceful life.

Between these two realities,
there is a growing gap —
and we do not yet have the institutions or technology
to bridge it.

project‑KANO is my attempt
to create a practical design
that can help close this gap, even a little.

To those who may walk with us

This project is not something
that a single founder can complete alone.

It needs the perspectives of:

Only when these perspectives come together
can we create a truly “living architecture.”

If even one part of this project
connects with your experience or your concerns,
I invite you to take a moment
and explore project‑KANO at your own pace.
